How to share Files/Folders from one drive?

One drive will help users to store large amounts of files where users can share them with their colleagues or clients. However, when sharing files externally users should always keep track of what files they are sharing and make external file sharing secure as possible.

Sharing File/Folder with external users

Go to Web version of One drive or Click on the One drive icon on your task pane and View Online

Click on the Folder or File you wish to share. Click on > Share

In Link Settings > Click on Specific People

Type in the email of the user whom you wish to share your file with. You also select edit or view options depending on the confidentiality of the file. 

Click Send
